Join us on Friday to learn how to paint this stunning luminous rose using chiaroscuro techniques in grisaille, followed by transparent  color glazing and translucent sfumato techniques, and finishing with opaque color accents. This day will excite your creativity and provide you with lots of information to take home and enjoy using.

On Saturday you'll learn how to paint this beautiful red cardinal perched on a dogwood branch. 

Linda will guide you though the grisaille painting process and then on to pure color glazes and selective opaque color accents.

Sunday, July 15, 2012

On Sunday you'll learn how to paint a Kentucky tobacco barn with Linda Coulter.  That project will be pictured here in a few more days. Please check back.

Tuition:  $75 per day/project.   

Tuition includes:  Professional teaching services of international art teacher, Linda Coulter, traceable pattern, reference photograph, color chart, basic written instruction. Prepped artist stretch canvas sold separately.

If the student wishes to use the teacher's paint, a palette rental is available the day of class for $10, and will include squirts of paint and painting medium for use during class.

NOTE:  Workshop students who register before 30 days prior to the workshop date shall receive a free palette during class.  After that deadline, the palette rental costs $10 per day.
