Student Cancellations for SeminarsIf a student cannot attend a prepaid Art Seminar, the following compensation is offered. If the student cancels BEFORE 30 days prior to the seminar start date, he/she can choose either a full cash refund, less the $50 nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit. Or Art Seminar in a Box to be shipped directly to that student within one week after the seminar has been taught. After that 30 day deadline prior to the seminar start date, if a seminar student cancels, no refund is granted. The student who has prepaid full tuition, but cannot attend the seminar, will receive the Art Seminar in a Box specific to the seminar enrolled in. To qualify for Art Seminar in a Box, tuition must be paid in full before the product is shipped. Student Cancellations for Art WorkshopsStudents who cannot attend a prepaid Art Workshop will receive a cash refund of prepaid tuition, less the $50 cancellation fee, and a refund for prepaid prepped artist canvas and prepaid palette rental. Students Vote:Rarely, in circumstances beyond our control, if a seminar or workshop cannot be taught as scheduled, all students who have prepaid full tuition will be given a vote to decide whether they want the seminar or workshop temporarily postponed, or relocated within a reasonable distance, or cancelled. Majority votes decide the outcome, and all students shall abide by that majority decision. If the majority vote decides the seminar or workshop is cancelled, all students will receive a full refund of prepaid tuition, prepaid prepped artist canvas, prepaid palette rental. If a seminar is relocated or postponed, and a student who has prepaid full tuition cannot, with valid reason, attend the new date or location, we'll ship Art Seminar in a Box to that student approximately one week after the seminar is taught. If a workshop is relocated or postponed, due to students majority votes, then any student who cannot, with valid reason, attend the new date or location, will receive an in-house credit immediately. That credit can be applied to the purchase of educational materials from Linda Coulter within 6 calendar months of the original workshop date. (excludes paint and brushes)
