National Art Workshops
What can you expect in Coulters'
National Art Workshops?
You'll gain valuable information about art itself. You'll learn secrets of the Old Masters that can be easily applied at your own easel, no matter what your skill level is. Your teacher will introduce you to fascinating fine art techniques, principles and concepts. You'll discover the fun and excitement of color glazing, scumbling, opaque overpainting, layering and creating channels in your design for natural sunlight to participate in the finished art work. You'll enjoy lots of laughter as you work in a warmhearted friendly atmosphere where the excitement of learning inspires your day. You'll watch painting demonstrations by your teacher and receive hands on assistance with your project. But most of all, you'll have the golden opportunity to meet new friends from across the country who enjoy painting as much as you do! These workshops are taught Saturdays and Sundays. Linda Coulter and Amanda teach at the same time. Linda teaches painting projects while Amanda teaches colored pencil projects. So, you can always choose your preference. Each project is a one day workshop unless stated otherwise. Contact us for exact dates and tuition. See Class Supplies. View our available Workshop Projects. And look forward to seeing NEW designs that are currently on our easel.
